Our mission

Reliable, transparent business messaging

SMS remains one of the most direct ways for a business in Bangladesh to reach a customer. It works on every phone, on every network, without an app or a data connection. For an order confirmation, a one-time password, a school notice or an appointment reminder, it is often the channel people check first.

Our mission is to make that channel dependable and easy to understand for Bangladeshi businesses of every size. That means a platform that records every message, tells you plainly what happened to it, charges you only for what was actually accepted for delivery, and keeps your account and your customers’ data secure.

How it’s built

Engineered so you can trust every message

Messaging is only useful if you can rely on it. These are the design decisions behind SMSGELY, in plain words.

  • Stored before sending

    Every message is saved to our database before it is handed to a provider, so its state is recorded even if a later step fails.

  • Background batch processing

    Campaigns are split into batches and processed in the background, so large sends don’t depend on your browser staying open.

  • Reconciled, never blindly resent

    If a provider’s response is unclear, the message is marked “unknown” and checked with the provider — not resent, so recipients don’t get duplicates.

  • Reserve, then charge

    Funds are reserved when a message is queued and charged only when the provider accepts it. Failed or rejected messages cost nothing.

  • Hashed, scoped API keys

    API keys are shown once, stored only as hashes, limited to the scopes you choose and optionally restricted to known IP addresses.

  • Signed webhooks

    Status notifications sent to your systems are signed, so you can verify that they really came from SMSGELY.

  • Strong account security

    Passwords are hashed with argon2id, email addresses are verified, and sessions are managed securely.

  • HTTPS everywhere

    The website, dashboard and API are served over encrypted HTTPS connections.

Our principles

How we work with customers

  • Transparent billing. Prices are published on our pricing page, and every charge is recorded in your wallet transactions.
  • No charges for failed messages. If a message fails or is rejected before a provider accepts it, the reserved amount goes back to your balance.
  • Consent first. We expect customers to message only people who have agreed to hear from them, and to honour opt-outs. Our SMS Policy and Acceptable Use Policy explain the rules.
  • Honest about limits. Delivery ultimately depends on mobile operators and handsets. We show you real statuses, including “unknown” while we reconcile, rather than guessing.
  • Security by default. Hashed passwords and API keys, scoped access and signed webhooks are standard for every account, not add-ons.
